OTHER RESOURCES
Cancer is a devastating diagnosis. It can bring a family to its knees as soon as the words are spoken by your doctor. Here is a list of other resources available to individuals and families who need extra assistance. The LYN Fund is not affiliated with the organizations on this list, but we are happy to pass on the information to you.

Women With Purpose
Women With Purpose is a non-profit organization in Tampa Bay committed to helping families in the community with cancer. WWP provides non-medical financial assistance for basic necessities by directly paying rent, mortgages, utilities, car payments and insurance, gas and food cards.

American Cancer Society
Having cancer is hard. Finding help shouldn't be. The American Cancer Society provides information, day-to-day help and emotional support.

Celma Mastry Ovarian Cancer Foundation
As their mission statement reveals, they are ‘family, friends and community united to fight ovarian cancer’; a three pronged approach is taken: Financial Aid to Patients, Research & Development and Awareness & Education. They are committed to do their best for those in need and work to help find a cure, so that no one loses a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, or daughter to this cancer that whispers!

The 2nd Baseman
Our Breast Cancer Charity picks up where insurance leaves off and helps bridge the financial gap of household expenses for men and women battling a breast cancer diagnosis. We provide help with medical bills, utilities, food, gas, and rent or mortgage payments.

The Pink Fund, Inc.
A breast cancer diagnosis can destroy the financial health and well-being of the patient and their family. While in active treatment, many patients are unable to work and experience a loss of income that can result in catastrophic financial losses and the need to rebuild financial health. The Pink Fund provides financial support to help meet basic needs, decrease stress levels and allow breast cancer patients to focus on healing while improving survivorship outcomes.

Patient & Caregiver Resources
The National Comprehensive Cancer Network® (NCCN®) is a not-for-profit alliance of 28 leading cancer centers devoted to patient care, research, and education. NCCN is dedicated to improving and facilitating quality, effective, efficient, and accessible cancer care so patients can live better lives.
